 1. Mouse operation

Left button+drag Rotate model. Release button while dragging makes model keep rotating.
Right button+Drag up/down Zoom model
Both button+drag Move up/down or left/right


 2. Viewer Menu


[File]▶  
 [Open] read files in gld or MOLDA format.
 [Save(copy) Input] save gld format files with other name.
 [Save Frame] save current model in MOLDA format file.
 [Save Jpeg] save current window in jpeg format.
 [Save Jpeg_L, R] save left and right images in jpeg format for stereo viewing.
 [StereoPhotomaker] launch StereoPhotomaker.
 [Exit] close 3D Viewer.
[View]▶  
 [Model] select display format.
  [Ball and Stick] display in ball and stick model.
  [Space Fill] display in space fill model.
  [Stick] display in stick model.
  [Wire] display in wire model.
 [Background] set background color.
  [Winmostar 3D] set background color dark blue.
  [Winmostar] set background to default color.
  [Black] set background black.
  [White] set background white.
 [Preferences] show preferences setting window.
 [Perspective] adopt perspective.
 [Debug] show debug information such as memory load.
 [Animation] show animation.
 [Clipboard] copy the contents of the window into clipboard.
[Help]▶  
 [Help] show mouse operation.
 [About] show version number.


Animation Menu


Animation  
Slider move frame.
 once  set one way play mode from current frame to the end.
 rew.  set repeated play mode; repeat first to last frame.
 round  set repeated play mode; repeat round play first to last to first.
 |>  (||) play(pause)
 * stop
 |< rewind
 >| fast forward
Jpeg save as jpeg while drawing
gif save as gif while drawing
Close close Animation window.


 3. Preferences Setting


Preferences  
Rotation▶  
 Free rotate along screen axis.
 X rotate along x-axis (horizontal direction of the screen).
 Y rotate along y-axis (vertical direction of the screen).
 Z rotate along z-axis (perpendicular direction to the screen).
Boundary Condition ▶
 None display atoms out of the boundary as they are.
 Atom display atoms out of the boundary inside the boundary.
 Mol. display molecules out of the boundary inside the boundary.
Gold show atoms and their bonds in gold color.
Rainbow▶ show different colors for each units of the molecule.
 Random  
 By turn change color of molecules by turn.
 Mol.Weight change color of molecules as same color for the same molecular mass.
 Blue - White add checked colors and drawing models to the list.
Stereo▶ show stereo viewing.
 Para pararell viewing
 Cross cross viewing
 Anag anaglyph viewing (through red-blue eye glass)
 Shift set distance between the molecules.
 Rot Factor rotation factor of the molecules.
Enantiomer▶ show enantiomer of the original model.
 Shift set distance between the chiral centers.
H show hydrogen atoms when check mark is on.
Dum. show dummy atoms when check mark is on.
Atom increase the size of atoms by n times.
Bond increase the thickness of bonds by n times.
Zclip set clipping position along z-axis.
MO Format ▶  
 Mesh indicate iso-surface of the orbital by mesh model.
 Solid indicate iso-surface of the orbital by solid model.
 SmoothSolid indicate iso-surface of the orbital by smooth solid model.
Trans set transparency of the iso-surface image. (0:opaque, 1: transparent)
X show cross-sectional view along perpendicular plane to x-axis when check mark is on. Position can be moved by slider.
Y show cross-sectional view along perpendicular plane to y-axis when check mark is on. Position can be moved by slider.
Z show cross-sectional view along perpendicular plane to z-axis when check mark is on. Position can be moved by slider.
